Melody Nails

Have been going to Melody nails for 20+ years, they have become more like family. They are reasonably priced and always do a good job!

I usually don’t write reviews, but I have to share my experience with this nail salon. I called ahead before coming in because I wanted to make sure they could do acrylic. When I arrived, I was greeted up front and sat down for my pedicure. As soon as I put my feet in the water, it started burning. I told the lady it burns and asked if she could change the water. She tapped my foot and said no and told me to put it back in. After that, it became clear they didn’t want to do the acrylic work, even though I called ahead. About five ladies surrounded my feet and kept repeating “gel” and “acrylic” for several minutes while talking to each other and laughing. I've been here twice in the last few weeks. I usually get acrylics, but one of the lady's there said gel x was better, and was pretty reluctant about doing the acrylics. I decided to try them out since she kept saying gel x is better. It's not in the slightest!!!! The nails have all bent. And I've broken several within the first week of having them on! Took 4 days for the first one to break! Second set of the gel x I got short. Still had broken nails in less than a week. They just wanted more money from me as the gel x sets are more than acrylics.
