Melanie saved my hair when it started changing from curly to wavy + stringy, the haircut she gave me encouraged the strands to curl correctly! Before going here I was getting massive knots from my previous hair cut. This cut has lasted 3 months without issues and has made my life so much easier!! Thank you!!!!! The products she used on my hair also were lightweight and left my hair super soft and shiny. Melanie also stayed extra time cutting my hair since I booked a standard cut— the pictures are of the hair air dried (and yet it still looks incredible)

I have nothing but gratitude and praise for Mel's work! I first found her some months ago, when looking to correct a terrible curly cut I'd received from another RVA curly hair stylist (who also chopped 6" off my length which was the exact opposite of what I'd asked for). Mel was super reassuring and sympathetic to what had happened, and she helped me fix the layering without losing any more length. Well- today I returned to her to restore a full blown wolf cut I'd had done a few years ago and loved.
