Mecca hair braiding is one of the best salons I ever been too . She makes you feel like your at home. They are so good to the point I won't go anywhere else. Her business is the type you will travel any where any just to go get your hair. Done and everybody in the shop knows how to braid. You won't be disappointed.

I went to Mecca hair salon this weekend and I didn't have a great experience. The first problem it was No heat and I had to wait for the stylist to come in and do my hair. The stylist did come in around 10 and was finished my kinky twist by 1:45 P.M. I loved the process until she dropped a hot water cup on my neck. The lady who was doing my hair tried to say that the burn wasn't bad and said she would put toothpaste on my neck, which did not help. I was looking for a mirror but, I couldn't find one. The owner Louis and the stylist who did my hair was more concerned about money then my actual well being. The cool towel she tried to give me was dirty and they didn't not assist me on any first aid that was actually taught in cosmetology school. I did not get to see how bad the burn was until

They are all about money at this place. I went to get my braids done once and they charged 165, the next time I went they charged 180, and now they're charging 200! They don't have consistent prices and they are very slow. They also braid your edges in so you have to wait a few hours or days to let some of your edge hair naturally come out.

This is the only salon I let braid my hair. I been going here for years. They always have appointments when I need one. I love this place. Very friendly group of ladies. Make u feel like family!
