Mckinleyville Barber Shop

Went in to get a small trim on top and sides. Asked not to shave the back and immediately he shaved the back and sides much shorter than I asked. Was not shown the final product until I got home and my Roomate commented on how bad it was. I immediately went to another barber to get it fixed. Do not recommend. I’m bummed I lost the long hair I was growing out. I could have, and have done much better myself.

Sent my son in for a cut, I will never do that again. I was so disappointed. The cut was NOTHING like what was asked for with the photo they were shown. Patchy, uneven cut, crooked neck line. I could have done better myself with a straight buzz cut and saved the $20. Had to go to a neighboring salon to try and get it fixed, and the hair dresser felt so bad she didn’t want to charge me. Normally I don’t leave bad reviews, I’d rather lift a small business up, but this was a waist of our time and money & terrible for a young man’s self confidence right before the first day back to school. Photos below are what we asked for and what we ended up with after the next salon tried to fix it. Not much she could do to fix it since he cut it SO short.

I just asked for a buzz cut down to a 4. I was told they didn't have that attachment and was given a haircut so bad that I had to go home and go over it with my beard trimmer TWICE because one side was so much longer than the other. But they made sure to wet my hair down for the mirror so I couldn't tell until it dried out! First and last time I'll ever go there. I'm giving it two stars because at least the good old boys were friendly.

The worst haircut. They don’t even know how to do simple cutting for a boy. They know nothing. Worst experience

My friend got his haircut here and it looked awesome!! Robert is an older guy very little grey and a full head of hair.. This haircut was a beautiful cut! Excellent!! Everyone complimented him!!
