I’m absolutely thrilled with my visits to the salon! I booked my appointment with Bren after seeing her work on Instagram and immediately knew she was the right person for what I wanted. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed, and before the haircut, Bren took so much time for an in-depth consultation. She truly listened and understood what I had in mind. The haircut itself wasn’t rushed but felt like a thoughtful process. She kept checking to see if I liked it, if it suited me, and how far I wanted to go. All in all, it was a perfect experience. If I could rate it in Michelin stars, I’d give it three — “worth a journey” — because I’m already wondering how I can travel from Berlin to Nashville just to get another haircut with Bren!

Alexa is absolutely wonderful! She’s not only kind and welcoming, but also incredibly talented. Every time I leave her chair, I feel like the best version of myself. She always goes the extra mile to make sure my style and color are just right, and I love how she takes the time to explain things so I learn something new at each appointment. She kills it every single time!

I cannot recommend this place enough! I’ve had my hair done by Alexa for 6 years and she and the team have created an amazing space and incredible team of people to make you look amazing. I get SO compliments on my hair color and I will never go anywhere else. Plus the location is amazing, right in 5 Points in East Nashville so you can get your hair done then grab a coffee, food and/or a beer/cocktail all within walking distance!

An absolutely amazing group of people here. Bathrooms are adorable, drinks are offered, and there’s even a sensory box in case you need it. I followed Been here from their previous salon because they are just THAT good.

So happy to have Mayday in the neighborhood! It's my new favorite place. Olive, Alexa, and the rest of the team are the ABSOLUTE BEST and the space is a gem. It’s open and bright and filled with warmth and personality - just like them. And it’s in the heart of 5 Points in East Nashville (hello, the perfect location!) I adore my new forever salon home. ❤️
