Mavida Salon

I found Mavido Salon with a simple google search looking for a local salon to do up-do’s for mom and I. After reading through some helpful reviews and pictures, Mavido was an easy choice! Calling to book our appointments was quick and easy and as we got closer to the date, Cheryl was more than happy to share her cell so we could share inspo pics. Cheryl greeted us with literal open warms as if we’ve been her clients for years! She was so warm and inviting. The salon is beautiful, clean, elevated and all the staff members were personable. And most importantly, both Cheryl and Melissa did a great job executing our looks for our family’s wedding. We highly recommend and would absolutely call them again if/when we’re back in town. ❤️

Mavida Salon is hands down the best. I moved here 5 years ago and I found the salon on google and saw that it got good reviews so I decided to give it a try. I’m so glad I did, this is the best salon I’ve ever been to. Patti always does a wonderful job with my color and cut. They have gone above and beyond to help make New Jersey feel like home. There aren’t many businesses like Mavida these days, great salon filled with helpful, loving people. I can’t recommend them enough.

This is my second time coming to this salon for a keratin treatment with Cheryl and I have nothing but great things to say about her! she does an amazing job with my hair and always makes me feel so welcome when I come in! I 10000% recommend her keratin to anyone and will most definitely be back again!

I recently decided to try something new with my hair and went for partial highlights. I was honestly a bit hesitant because my hair is very fine and breaks easily. In the past, a different salon over-bleached my hair during a full highlight session, which caused a lot of damage and breakage. This time, I chose to go to Mavida, and I’m so glad I did! It was my first visit, and from the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. Donna did my hair, and she was absolutely amazing. She listened carefully to my concerns, took her time, and handled my hair with such gentleness and care. She asked great questions about my hair routine and gave me personalized advice on how to better care for my hair moving forward. The end result? My highlights came out beautifully, soft, natural-l

I always get my hair done from Cheryl - color, highlights, haircut, you name it. She always does such an amazing job and I have loved all of my new looks. Everyone is so warm and lovely. 100% recommend this place and any stylist here. But I love Cheryl :)
