Highly recommend this place! Erin is great—does a fantastic job, takes her time to make sure it’s a good haircut, and makes it evident that she enjoys what she does. She’s also very sweet and personable. The shop is a cool little place and is well kept with plenty of parking, definitely plan on going back!

Erin is a one woman shop with a clean and retro inspired aesthetic. I love the one chair concept of her shop and book my two young boys appointments back to back. Her barber skills are unmatched, attention to detail and personal touch that will continue to keep our family as customers. Booking is painless with her online system and email reminders. **she does book up most times but I have never had a problem finding an opening within a weeks time - following on instagram will also keep you updated on last minute openings and holiday hours***

Erin does SUCH an amazing job with my 2 year old son. She's patient, professional and thorough. She has such a great job on my son that my husband recently made the switch and loves how she does his hair. With kids and busy schedules being able to book online and not wait in a line has made life SO much easier. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a great boys' and/or mens' haircut!

I've been searching for a shop that does great men's cuts since the pandemic started and had to leave my office downtown for my new home office. I used to go to a barbershop in the city, but have been struggling to find something close. Out of all the shops in the area I've tried, Erin hit it out of the park. We talked a bit before to figure out what would work for me, and then she went on with the cut. Couldn't have asked for a better result. The shop itself is nice, modern, clean and overall good vibes. Scheduling an appointment was also super easy. I'll be returning for sure.

We love Erin at Matte! I bring my 18 month old who is not the easiest client and she is just the best with him! Always gives the best haircut- so happy she opened up this barbershop!
