I cannot say enough great things about Mateo’s House of Beauty. Mateo and Joe are the kindest and warmest people who immediately make you feel at home. Their salon is clean, chic, and comfortable. I got a haircut & blowout, and left feeling like a celebrity! I can’t recommend them enough for any of their services, they are the BEST!

I went to Mateo House of Beauty for the Japanese head spa, and it was honestly amazing. Mateo was so sweet from the moment I walked in, and the whole place had such a relaxing, aesthetic vibe. The treatment was completely worth it — the difference in my scalp in the before and after photos was incredible. I have curly hair and a sensitive scalp, so I’m usually super cautious about what products I use to avoid irritation or flare-ups. Knowing that Mateo used natural oils made me feel so relieved, and that soothing, tingly sensation let me know the treatment was really doing its job. On top of that, the full body massage and facial were fantastic. I also loved that I was the only person in the salon during my appointment — it made the whole experience feel extra peaceful and refreshing. Yo

The spa itself has such a calming, welcoming atmosphere, and you can tell every detail is thoughtfully done to make clients feel relaxed. My mom got me an appointment for the head spa because I couldn’t stop talking about how badly I wanted to experience one and Mateo DELIVERED!! The entire time I was the only client in the salon and it was the most relaxing and respectful experience ever (my pulse got down to 42)!! I’m pretty sure my appointment went longer than scheduled as well. All of the products smelt so amazing and they were sooo gentle on my skin (and its very sensitive). I cant say enough about the experience and the owners, completely worth every penny 100000/10!!
