Master Colorist Alba Reyes

The photos speak for themselves. The highlights were not placed correctly and were applied using outdated techniques. The photos were taken the day after the service, yet the highlights already look as though they have grown out for months because they were not applied close to the scalp. I specifically asked for soft, blended, melted-in highlights to avoid harsh lines as my hair grows. I also clearly stated that I did not want chunky or streaky highlights and that I wanted a warm, golden blonde color. None of these requests were followed. Any way I part my hair it looks bad. I paid for full highlights, yet when I part my hair down the middle, there is only about one inch of chunky, streaky highlights with no color throughout the rest of my head. Alba does phenomenal work and gives my hair the time and care it needs. I have always left extremely happy with the results of my balayage, haircut, and styling. Best colorist I’ve found in the Miami area. I had gotten used to anxiously explaining to other colorists what I wanted in hopes that they could come close, but they almost always fell short. When I came to see Alba, she listened to exactly what I wanted and gave me exactly what I wanted. She also gave me the best haircut Ive ever had. I have thick frizzy hair and have always been advised against layered haircuts but somehow the one she gave me was perfect. I’ve gone twice to see her now and will be back. She’s also just super nice! It’s always a fun time when I go to see her. 10/5 stars!
