Massage Tactics

I have stenosis in my cervical and lumbar regions and went on a pretty decent hike up Fantasy Canyon today. While I had never seen Cheri previously, based on reviews, I decided that it would be good to have a massage from her after the hike. I was not disappointed! Cheri is really adept at her techniques, as I have some areas that are really problematic and some, like hamstrings, calves, and thighs are very tight, and she was able to loosen me up significantly. I was amazed at how much pressure she could apply and not actually hurt me. I'm no expert, by any means, but it seems to reason that if decent pressure can be applied without making me scream, that is the essence of deep tissue massage. What an amazing experience it was to go and experience the mental and emotional healing with Cheri! I was able to release past trauma and emotional baggage in our first meeting. It was amazing and powerful! Follow that with the massage, and I felt better physically, emotionally, and mentally than I had in a very long time. Highly recommend!
