A magical, transformative place with only the most skilled masseurs and masseuses. My first and really only recommendation to anyone, in general, and a great spot for anyone you've just picked up from LAX, for instance. A fantastic start to a few days to a week of tourism or a monthly reprieve from everyday stresses.

I recently had a massage in LA and it was exactly what I needed. From the moment I walked in, the space felt calm and welcoming, with soft music and a really relaxing atmosphere. The therapist was attentive and asked about any sore areas before starting, which made a big difference. The pressure was perfect enough to release all the tension but still gentle enough to make me feel completely relaxed. I walked out feeling lighter, like all the stress I’d been carrying was gone. It was honestly one of the best massages I’ve had in a long time and reminded me how important it is to take time for myself. I’ll definitely be going back.

Nothing against the spa experience, but what sets Massage in LA apart from other places is proactive friendly customer service and skilled and responsive massage therapists, all without having to pay extra for spa services I don't or wouldn’t use. I am a martial arts instructor and business owner who teaches the lion’s share of classes at my business. I’ve come to realize that proactive Self Care is important if I am to sustain the demands of running a successful business. For the past 4 years I’ve incorporated monthly 90 minute massages to help put Humpty Dumpty (me) back together again. Massage in LA has come through every time.

Warm atmosphere from the moment you walk in, and Haining is truly gifted. The massage felt both deeply relaxing and genuinely therapeutic. You can tell she knows exactly how to adjust the pressure and focus on the right spots without even being asked. By the end, every bit of tension was gone and I felt light and calm. Definitely one of the best massage experiences I’ve had and I’ll be coming back for Haining specifically.

I’ve had mixed experiences at this spa, and while it’s not necessarily a bad place, it’s definitely… unique. One concern I feel compelled to mention is the way some interactions made me question whether all guests are treated equally. As a person of color, I didn’t always feel fully respected or welcomed, and that’s something I hope the management takes seriously. On another visit, my massage therapist seemed unwell and mentioned not feeling great—possibly as a reason for the lack of effort during the session. I understand that everyone has off days, but when you’re paying for a professional service, you expect consistency and care. There were also moments that felt a bit too casual for a spa setting. For example, some staff offered their personal phone numbers, which blurred the lines of
