Massage for Medically Complex People

Marian is a very gifted therapist. She is deeply experienced in a wide variety of bodywork modalities and is able to create a safe space for healing that fosters my body’s natural healing abilities. I always feel peaceful and restored after our sessions, and I can tell that my body has felt truly listened to. I particularly enjoy her Craniosacral therapy and have been receiving it regularly for the past few months. She was one of my favorite teachers throughout massage school because it was clear how much care and compassion she has for people struggling with chronic pain. She takes an empowering approach and has unique ways of helping to encourage people into movement, like QiGong and hypnosis. Thank you Marian for being a gift to your entire community!!!!

I very highly recommend Marian Wolfe Dixon, she is such a gifted therapist! Since the pandemic started in March, my nervous system had been in accelerated hyper-vigilant mode. I've had trouble sleeping & even just relaxing. Marian offers zoom hypnotherapy & we did a session yesterday. This is the type of hypnotherapy where you are communicating & remember everything, it worked remarkably well over zoom! The session itself felt really healing, like my body was able to find ways to reset, & last night I slept better than I have in months!! I highly recommend her sessions. And if you're able to receive massage again, her myofascial massage (she wrote the book!), as well as craniosacral, is just amazing & transformative. Her support is just what I needed & I am so thankful for her therapeutic

Marian is an excellent massage therapist and Qigong and yoga teacher with years of experience. She is compassionate and very knowledgeable about chronic disease and emotional health. In spite of the pandemic, she’s been very creative about attempting to keep up with students and friends on line. I highly recommend Marian’s services.
