Massage Envy

Terrible business practice. We bought 2 gift cards and left them at the front desk for my mother-in-law to use while visiting as a nice surprise for her. When she showed up, they could only find one gift card so they charged her for the rest. After she told us what happened, I called and spoke with the manager who said since her payment went towards the tip, it couldn’t be refunded even though they have the gift card now. We don’t get massages and now are stuck with a $20 gift card we can’t use without paying $80 more for another massage. How is the acceptable business? I would not recommend buying gift cards from or trusting the Mason branch location.

Save yourself the headache and disappoint- go see Lydia, Abby or Ray at Creative Wellness in Montgomery instead for massage! If I could leave a zero I would! I have been a member for a very long time. I have to say Tiffany (the redhead) is the rudest and laziest "manager" or front desk person I have encountered. There is absolutely NO customer service and no goal for customer retention. Oh, and she has zero personality or care for the customer in a wellness service industry. Only 1 massage therapist fits my needs at this location. He is very difficult to get in with and with limited hours. I work in health care and was running late from the hospital far away from this location. I showed up late but would have still had 63 minutes of my scheduled 90 minute massage. Recently went in for a 90 minute massage and I’ve felt better after 30 minute massages elsewhere. Everyone was very nice but I specified that I wanted a full body massage with a focus on my lower back since I have a curved spine and a great deal of back pain there. She worked on my shoulders for a great deal of time and hardly did my lower back. She spent a decent amount of time on my legs and feet but then barely touched my arms or hands. Overall I really didn’t feel any better compared to other massages I’ve had in the past. Really wasn’t worth the money and not sure if I’ll be going back to this location.

I honestly had the worse massage of my life here. The people at the front desk were very nice, cheerful and thorough. The gentleman who gave me my massage seemed nice, he was very quiet. Unfortunately the room was cold, the massage oil was cold and his hands were cold. When he asked, I told him specific areas I'd like for him to focus on. (I arrived with pain in a specific area that I knew a massage would help. That area only received about 5 seconds of attention.) He did not focus on those areas at all. Instead he gave me what felt like a bad, prepackaged massage... It felt like he was just trying to get the job done and move on. Perhaps the massage improves the more you pay? I did get the basic massage... This shouldn't be the case though considering the price. I pay about the same els
