Massage Envy

I've been using this location for a while now, and had loved the ease of booking and the individuals I would have during my appointments. The atmosphere was always welcoming and relaxing! In the past every provider I had services with was great, with a few really standing out! It really hurts to write about what has changed. The last two sessions I've had were anything but relaxing. I do ask for firm massages, but now I'm walking out with bruising. I also noticed a terrible smell during both of my most recent visits. During my last visit, I was asked what are my targeted areas, and explained I needed to focus on my back and neck. Mid session I realized my shoulders were the only area of focus. This review is about both massage therapists Jesse and Carollynn!! I am so appreciative of massage therapist, Jesse! He is a gem and as equally kind, considerate, and attentive, as he is at giving incredible massages! He’s so helpful to me as I have been dealing with chronic pain since 2018. I always leave feeling better than when I arrived. I know part of that is because he’s got a healing energy and that translates into the manual work he does. Thank you, Jesse! I've been to a Massage Envy before and didn't love the experience. Strong sales tactics and the massage therapist didn't quite meet expectations. However, I'm new to Kansas City and was in desperate need of a massage. The front desk staff was friendly and calm in the sales approach, definitely not overly excited and chatty like I'm used to. The massage therapist, Jesse, was absolutely amazing. I would probably go as far to say it's the best massage I've ever had. I was his last appointment of the day and expected him to be fatigued and unable to use the amount of pressure I was requesting for a deep tissue, especially the entire time. I think he actually was using more pressure towards the end and it was exactly what I needed. I can't say enough good things about him. I absolutely recommen
