Massage Envy

Today’s experience was very disappointing. I had to stop my massage early because the male massage therapist was not providing a proper full-body massage. He mostly rubbed my back, skipped my arms entirely, and abruptly moved from my back to my legs. The massage felt unstructured and incomplete. I have been receiving massages for over 15 years, and I am confident that what I experienced today was not a good-quality massage. On a positive note, my husband was very satisfied with his massage with a female therapist. Unfortunately, I don’t recall her name, but if I receive a reply identifying her, I will definitely give her a 5-star review.

I was hesitant to get a massage after injuring my neck because I could barely move and didn’t want to make things worse. Thankfully, I booked a session with Mayte. From the moment I walked in, she treated me with such care and compassion that I immediately felt at ease. She took her time to understand what was going on and worked with incredible skill and intuition. It wasn’t just a massage; it felt like healing. I walked out feeling lighter, looser, and genuinely cared for. I can’t recommend her enough.

A massage was reserved earlier in the day on a Saturday for a 3:30pm appointment with a male masseuse named Kahlil. Per the booking instructions, arrived 15 minutes early to complete the check in procedure which took less than 10 minutes. The check in clerk was nice, however I wouldn’t opt in for a package deal on my first visit and first time with the masseuse just to receive a “discount” ; which would be paid throughout the year once I’m locked into a package. My masseuse came to the front 5 minutes into my appointment time for a 60 minute massage and led the way to the room. Once in there, he asked for the main focus points, I said shoulders and back. Love my girl Nicole! She gives the most amazing and relaxing facials. My skin has gotten so much better after seeing her once a month. She’s the best!
