I have been looking for a good braiding shop since moving to Raleigh and needless to say this was not it. I went go to get buttlength "smedium" knotless and booked my appointment in advance. When I arrived Laeticia said no one told her it was buttlength and that it would be $50 dollars more than the previously decided price. She also said I was not allowed to go on my phone or read for the beginning of the appointment (8a-2p), and then proceeded to be very aggressive with my head throwing it any which way and telling me that I was moving when I was being quite still. It felt like she was trying to braid a mannequin head instead of a human head. My last hair appointment was a few weeks ago which I was NOT happy at all.. I made an appointment the day before for 8:30am for 4 stitch braids just to be told by text message 5 minutes before I pull into the plaza that the stylist was running late. I was told I can reschedule or go the other salon across across from the Walmart plaza… At this point I was frustrated from traveling in traffic then go back in traffic to head to the other salon.. WELL let me say I told to ask for Fatima when I got there but she was already with a client so they had JoJo to do my hair which I was quoted a different price once I got to the salon.. I told JoJo no I was quoted this amount and a discount because of the inconvenience of my appointment. Jo Jo was EXTREMELY rude she was like idk who you are texting y

A good friend of mine left this salon in tears instead of feeling confident and renewed. An experience entirely due to her interactions with Laeticia. What should have been a positive and uplifting visit turned into a deeply upsetting one. I am extremely disappointed and disturbed by the way she was treated. No client should ever walk away feeling disrespected, uncomfortable, or emotionally distressed after a service that is meant to enhance their confidence. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the salon as a whole. 0/5 save yourself the trouble!

Sent a picture for small passion twist given the price of $220. Arrive at the salon proceed to remove my sew in only to be told that nobody can do my hair for that amount. It was chaos people where angry and I should’ve left and went somewhere else but I had already removed my sew in. One lady agreed to do it, I left and within 2 weeks it was coming apart and shedding everywhere. The owner said there are no refunds but I can pay another $100 for knotless braids or go get it redone by staff that were already upset they had to do it in the first place. Does this look like what I asked for? I also have the video of the lady speaking in her native language about not wanting to do my hair. I’m going to lace fronts they want our money…tell me did I get what I asked for?

As other reviewers have stated, 1 star is too much for them I wish I could rate this salon a zero. I can’t speak for the other hairstylists at this location, but the experience with Laeticia was extremely uncomfortable and nerve wracking. She is unprofessional and gave the impression that she doesn’t enjoy what she does. A salon visit should be relaxing and uplifting, no one should ever leave a stylist’s chair feeling tortured, disrespected, or uncomfortable. That was unfortunately the case here. Please be aware
