Mario's Salon

Everyone at Mario's is really nice, professional and skilled from what I can see. But I go to Carlo and he is amazing. I have a short haircut and I get compliments on it all the time. He knows how to work with curl and wave and does a cut that is both edgy and feminine. I also love this place because it has a family atmosphere-everyone is chill and all ages and types of people come in here. It's a Somerville gem!

If you're looking for a perm, Pepe is the man you should seek. I've had other perms fail to stick, due to the soft, thin texture of my hair. But Pepe looked at me, and said "we're going to do this right." And now, almost a year later, there are still waves in my hair. Would consider traveling back to Boston just to see him.

I'm telling you on the REAL you can't get a better haircut anywhere in all of Somerville and Cambridge. Whatever you are doing with your hair, they make it happen. Whatever crazy thing you visualize in you mind you want to do? They can make it happen. Theses are extremely experienced stylists and barbers. They have been around the block a few times. Give them one shot. You won't ever leave. PS, if you can't explain it in words, bring a picture. You want Taylor Swift hair? Bring a few pics of her hair.

I’ve been seeing Pepe’ for haircuts 15+years and he’s so meticulous and takes his time his daughter Sabrina is a wonderful colorist , Aldo Carla is a great colorist very comfy friendly family run hair salon !!!! And the prices are so fair compared to most salons !!!! ❤️this place !!!

Asked for a low fade, lady decided to shear the side of my head down to skin, I pointed out that wasn't a fade, to which she said she doesn't do fades. Rating would be lower but the other gentleman seemed to understand the situation and I switched to him and he did his best to recover what can only be described as Cressida from Hunger Games.
