Marilu G Studio Hair Salon

I scheduled an appointment for today at 10:00 AM for a haircut. I live over an hour away, so this was a significant trip for me. Once I arrived, I called and texted Marilu multiple times and never received a response. I waited an entire hour, assuming she might be running late, but eventually had to leave. When I got home, I called again and a man answered. I asked to speak with Marilu and was abruptly told, “No, she’s sick,” before he hung up on me. This was extremely unprofessional. I’ve only had positive experiences here in the past, which is why this was so disappointing. I’m not sure why this situation was handled so poorly, but there are many other barbers and stylists out there, so I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. I won’t be returning or recommending this place. My recommend

Scheduled an appointment yesterday (7/27/25) @12 Noon for today 7/28/25. When I got to the location, the door was locked. A guy came to the door and I told him I had an appointment at 12. He said the lady that cuts hair is out sick & will be out for a week. I said.. A Week? 😱 I was NEVER called about it to have my appointment rescheduled or canceled. That's Not a Good look for them at all. Then the guy told me he was on the phone with her so he could put a sign up on the door. That's Not very Good business, just being honest!! Should of called & canceled people's appointments.

I came in for beard trim. I didn't know this was a full service barber.... I was so pleasantly surprised there's a local shop . I got a great cut !

Hair cuts have been consistent with what I want every time. I highly recommend this salon. Prices are very fair. Don’t hesitate to book your appointment or walk in.

Great experience and loved my haircut!! Definitely coming back!
