When I moved to Frederick, I was nervous about finding the right place to have my daughter’s hair braided. I came across this braiding shop and haven’t been disappointed. The owner is welcoming and very nice. The women there do a great job! I go every two months for my daughter and a few times a year for myself. Please visit them if you need your hair done. They do various styles and the salon itself it very clean.

They did an amazing job with matching the inspiration picture that I gave to them. All the workers are very understanding and nice! I definitely will be recommending this place to everyone that I know!

I called to schedule a braid appointment, I was quoted $200 for micro braids, I told them that was too much and she asked me how much do I usually pay. I told her $180. She said OK will do it for that price. Once I arrived I had to wait a bit for someone to show up. I didn’t really look thoroughly at the braids until I got home and that’s when I realized what a mess it really was. The braids are all different sizes, the knots made The rest of the hair tangle, but I was on my way to a vacation trip the same day. These photos are exactly one week and a day after initial style. Micro’s usually last anywhere between 1 to 3 months depending on hair and style…Even though these are twice the size of micro braids. The experience was good. I was able to show them what I wanted, and they did it to the best of their abilities. Took about 5- 6hours for smedium mid back braids. They were very tight, but that is on me for not communicating, so please tell them if it is too tight. There is a bit of a language barrier since they speak little English, but nothing sign language and Google translate can’t fix. I recommend having a picture reference for your style.
