Marie Robinson salon

I have been coming to Marie’s salon since her opening. Through many color changes and so many life chapters, this has always been my spot. This salon has true talent, and over the years many colorists and stylists have become more than just who does my hair. I am so grateful for talent, consistency, and the way anyone who sits in a chair here will feel taken care of.

I’ve been going to Maggie at Marie Robinson Salon for my blonde color for 4 years and she is absolutely the GOAT. Maggie listened attentively to what I wanted, not just a blonde, but a blonde that actually looked good on me, and she is a magician!! My color always comes out dimensional, bright, shiny, and exactly what I pictured. She genuinely understands curls and texture, prioritizes hair health, and makes you feel gorgeous after every visit. Maggie makes every appointment feel luxurious and personalized. I trust her completely with my hair and would recommend her 10/10 to anyone who wants perfect blonde with integrity. She’s honestly the best colorist I’ve ever had, a real 5-star talent and a joy to sit with! That's why even after moving to California, I travel to NYC for my hair!!

I came here on recommendation from a friend who also gets their hair colored here. I worked with Maggie on coloring my light/medium brown hair deeper and she was fantastic! I literally can’t stop looking at my hair. This was my first hair color ever and I cannot recommend her and Marie Robinson enough. It’s such a luxurious experience and worth every penny 🥰 thanks Maggie!

Yelena was my stylist, she’s lovely and terrific at cutting. I hope to go back when my hair is longer so she can work more of her magic! Annika did my highlights and colour, first time I get colour there. I wish they told me cash tips only because it cost me a lot more to get tip $ from the ATM as I’m Canadian! Not going to lie. We had an appointment at another salon - Luxe Den Salon on 8th Ave for Saturday, June 11th. My daugher was to perform at Feinstein's 54/Below that evening and we wanted to treat her by sending her to the salon to help get her ready. Our hotel was right around the corner, and they recommended it. We called and made an appointment weeks in advance but while waiting at the door for 15 minutes after they were supposed to be open, we found out they were closed that Saturday and no one had told us. We were already on a tight schedule and started calling other area salons to see if they could fit us in. Luckily, Marie Robinson Salon said that they could.
