Service was excellent, Haoua did my hair, her hands are super soft, she almost put me to sleep I was so relaxed. End results better than anticipated.

I honestly should’ve read the reviews before coming here. The women in this hair salon are very rude , inconsiderate and overcharge their services. We initially agreed on a $60 charge for taking out my hair. The lady took 3 hrs 35 mins to take it out (how she handled the hair was very rough and painful) while talking on the phone/snacking in between and at the end charged me $100 for it. They were so rude when I brought up the initial agreement. I was going to come back the next morning for knotless braids but needless to say I’m never coming back. Do better as a business.

This was the worst braiding experience for me. In fact, it's been 11 days since I got my Bohemian Box Braids and my hair is still so tight that it bothers me at night and I still have bumps throughout my head from them being so tight and pulling my hair out at the roots. I went in the day before and explained exactly what I wanted and made the appointment for the following morning. She did my hair in knots when I told her I wanted knotless because I was trying to grow my hair to get sisterlocks. I did not realize this until she was finished. When she got to the top of my head, I told her more than once that my neck was hurting from her bending it, and instead of her standing up, she literally sat in the chair and kept bending my head towards her. Young lady who braided my hair was very nice and she did a good job however I got kinky twist that came to.my shoulder and maria charged me $180 in which I have seen box braids longer and customer paid less. I will not go back for this reason. Over priced 😞

I would give the overall experience a 3.5 '4 stars here is why. I was told to get there at 9:30 and I wasn't serviced until 45 minutes later. The shop also definitely needs some maintenance from the floors to the towels that they use on your hair to the bathroom, could use a good cleaning. If you're clean freak, I definitely wouldn't suggest this place. The pros are the stylist are really pleasant, respectful, easy to work with and try their best to please the customer. They had about seven stylist and they were all on point with their braiding technique very neat and well done . The owner, Maria is by far the best though. I showed them a picture and explained what I wanted and it was done exactly the way I wanted. Their prices are also comfortable and fair.
