Manolo Tapas

Food was absolutely delicious. Consider my rating on that aspect a **** 1/2 out of *****. The service was terrific. It was nice to have a waiter who knew the stuff and was helpful in coming to a menu choice. Had a ribeye steak while my wife had a skirt steak and both were great. Place doesn’t take credit or debit, it’s a strictly cash operation here. They have an ATM on the premises at the least but not to have the option to put it on a credit card kinda knocked a point off. Would strongly advise you try this. The shrimp tapas were out of this world especially.

I was excited to check out Manolo tapas, for some Spanish food. The service was honestly amazing — super friendly and made us feel really welcome. The food looked good, but for me, it was missing a lot of the bold flavors I grew up with. It felt a little flat compared to what I expected from Spanish dishes. Still, I had a great time thanks to the awesome staff. Hoping the kitchen can step it up a bit, because the vibe and service are definitely there!

I’ve been going to this place for months now and let me say. This was a delightful surprise. The atmosphere is amazing, as both the interiors and exterior capture a Spanish feel to it. I also notice it tends to attract an older crowd, mid 20s being the youngest unless there are families here. But it’s important to bring up because of the bar which serves great drink. Which speaking of, the food is great! I always go for the tapas which makes it a stand out as most of the other restaurants in the heights don’t have that. I would also say the food does compliment the primarily Dominican Food scene by being Spanish food. My friends and I had a great experience at Manolo Tapas restaurant. The food and service was excellent! I highly recommend for your special occasion or even just a day or evening out for a bite. The owner came by our table to reassure our experience was top tier.

Surprisingly, great restaurant with quick and friendly service. Food was great. I wish they had more info in English on the menu. Some items even didn't have English translation. I think, it's cash-only place. Spanish cuisine. Full bar.
