I don’t typically do reviews, but I had to give a big shout out to my barber/stylist, Fred Scott, who began cutting my hair in 2021. As the owner and operator of Manecave in Wakefield, the shop is classy, colorful, clean and has an overall nice ambiance. Scott treats his clients like family. Hence, he is funny, attentive, creative and overall sincere about his work and making each customer look their best and you feel good once you come out. I encourage everyone who wants to experience a step above the rest in barbering, give Manecave a try…. You will be extremely thrilled that you did! You heard it from me first!!! P.S. Ignore what anyone else is saying, Fred Scott is a legend with the clippers. I booked a 11 am on a Sunday and he had me in the chair at 10:59 and done by 11:45. Excellent service, very professional and skilled, the only downside is that my wife can't focus on work now cause I just look too good.

Elder & kid friendly honestly the service is grand not only the haircut I was able to play the ps5 get a facial and massage all in one place I will never go to a different barbershop after the experience

My 7yr old nephew has not been a fan of haircuts, going to a barber is a big deal! It was his first time getting his haircut with a barber, Scott was gracious to take a newbie, treated him very carefully and gave him an awesome haircut. My nephew loved it and says he’d only go to Scott now. Highly recommended

If you are looking for a professional and courteous shop PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE! Fred Scott is absolutely rude and unprofessional. I called to check for availability and was told to just check online and book through an app. Which was no problem, so I booked my appointment a week in advance. The day of my appointment I had to confirm my appointment, which I did. I arrived at the shop 5 mins early for my appointment, and he still had someone else in his chair. No one acknowledged me when I walked in, I had to wait 15 minutes after my appointment time to even be acknowledged and when I walked up and told him I had an appointment with him 15 mins ago he told me he would be with me shortly once he finished up with the person in his chair.
