Connie's the best,she fixes my hair how I want always,I live about an hour away but now I wait till I get to Monroe to get my hair cut and colored perfectly!!

Connie is such a sweet, amazing woman. And so talented! Like getting your hair done by a family member! So grateful for her. She takes care if young and old, men and women! I met her while caring for a dear friends Mom who was in her 90's. She did such a great job on her hair. And made her feel so good. I would highly recommend The Mane Stop to anyone!!

Connie & Gina have been doing amazing hair together at the cozy Mane Stop forever!!! The color & highlights are amazing. They have fixed my messed up, home color attempts and are awesome. Prices are so much cheaper than Cincinnati or Dayton. Love them, love this shop!

I've been looking for a salon in Monroe and tried this place after seeing good reviews on Google. All in all, my end result is fine, but I won't be back as there were too many odd aspects. Positives: I am satisfied with my haircut and color, and I was able to get in for an appointment very quickly. Neutral: price was okay, my stylist was easy enough to converse with. Negatives: they do not accept cards as payment. After my hair was done, I got to drive to the ATM down the street and pay a fee to withdraw cash. The salon was somewhat cluttered/disorganized, not as overtly clean as most salons I have gone to. My hair was butchered, nothing I said was taken into account, did I mention my hair was butchered? I have one side longer than the other, with 2 in pieces of hair in spots. Color completely opposite of what I wanted. I will never return here again.
