Wow, what a great place. I went over on Saturday to help get part of the building finished. They taught us how to hang vinyl siding and we got quite a bit of it put up. They have a ton of space and they are going to have a FORGE! I can't wait to try some metal casting. They people I met were wonderful. Thanks Dave and Mark for the tour.

Phenomenal group of makers. The amount of knowledge in the member base and their willingness to share, collaborate and help is beyond measure. The tools and equipment available through membership are far beyond what any normal person could hope to amass on their own. Well worth joining up.

This makerspace will have some large wood working equipment, kiln, forge, ceramics, and general craft areas. The wood working equipment is large scale including a 37" sander. Makersmiths also has a Leesburg location and your membership gets you access to both. It's great. My son and I love finding new projects that use equipment we haven't used yet. Right now we are working on 3D printers and the lasercutter in Leesburg.

You can learn and/or practice just about anything here. The Purcellville location has a commercial-grade woodshop, metal shop, welding shop, paint and powder coating booth, sand- and beadblasting cabinets, 3D printers, a large plotter, large CNC machine and a plasma CNC, ceramics studio, smithy and forge, and most recently a picture framing studio.
