Mahela Beauty Salon of Saint Augustine

I always liked Mahela Salon but have always jumped around to different salons. I get a haircut maybe twice a year. I had an appointment with Jessica recently and left with a nice haircut and feeling good about my hair situation. My hair has been thinning out but Jessica told me I had plenty of new hair coming in. The stylist at the last salon I went to had me feeling bad when I left about my thinning hair and droopy eyebrows!Jessica was professional and kind and when I am in St. Augustine, I will go to Mahela Salon for haircuts.

I had a fabulous experience with Jessica. I called just for a blow out and curls. She was really nice and listened to what I wanted. The blow out was amazing! Highly recommend. The salon has its own parking which was a concern of mine when booking as I’m out of town. Everyone was super friendly and would recommend. Thanks for a great blow out!

Deena does my hair and Heather has cut my husband’s hair for the past several years. It’s always a pleasure to visit as both ladies are personable and care about their clients’ needs. Deena takes her time to get my haircut right and does a great job on my highlights. Her prices are more affordable than other salons too. She’s created a great hometown feel to her salon. Try Deena or Heather and you’ll feel welcomed and look great too!

Spur of the moment haircut. She was able to get me in that day and did an amazing job. I have had bad experiences with salons before, but she went above and beyond my expectations for what I wanted and needed. If I ever need a haircut while in town, I will definitely go here every single time!

Saw recommendation for Mahela Salon on my Next Door App as having great stylists and reasonable prices. They were so right! Went first time the other day with my Pandemic-timespan grown-in grays and came out with EXACTLY what I was going for! Heather artistically created my hair with some highlights, style, color, cut - really LISTENING to what I was wanting done, and then doing it. My boyfriend keeps complementing, which always feels good. ** Thanks Heather!!** Reasonable prices, and it's a well-maintained salon, both stylists (one is the owner) were so friendly and wore masks, as did I. That made me feel safer too, since it's closer contact in these crazy times, etc. Definitely recommend, they're my people now!
