MAGIC FINGERS BRAIDING

1 went to Magic Fingers Hair Braiding for smedium waist-length braids with a #30 base color and a #30/#4 boho mix for added fullness. I paid $320 plus a $40 tip. I brought inspiration photos, and I appreciated that they helped me identify the right color combination to achieve the look I wanted. The shop had a calm atmosphere with gospel music playing, which I really enjoyed. They also have the boho “human hair” available on site, which was convenient. I arrived Sunday at 7:45am, was in the chair by 7:50am, and they started parting at 8:25am. The first braid was done at 8:36am, my first quarter was finished around 10:05am, and the last braid was completed at 2:00pm. I left at 2:30pm. I wish I could leave 0 stars. This is the worst experience I have ever had at a braiding salon. Solely based on customer service. I never asked for “baby hair” and I don’t even have edges short enough to lay down as “babe hair”. My hair was left out in the front and I went back inside after to ask them to fix it. They used a ton of gel and attempted to lay my hair (which should’ve been in the braids) down. I decided to text the number given and told them I would return on Monday for them to fix it. I get here and they make me sound stupid saying “ you want baby hairs then you don’t”. I never asked for baby hair. My hair was left out of 4 braids. Take this review how you see fit. My two stylists were the best I’ve ever had! They don’t know how much this truly meant to me. I’ve been through a lot lately, and being able to come in, get my hair done and done beautifully and in a timely manner meant so much. 💕 Thank you so much, Sonia and Esther

The service was quick and I appreciated that. I don’t really do reviews but my experience was very upsetting. Due to medical issues I suffer from hair loss and I rarely get my hair done. When I went to get my hair styled for some boho French curls for a special occasion, the braider was insensitive to my insecurities. She was kissing her teeth every time she started a new braid and speaking poorly on the condition of my hair to the second braider which made me feel humiliated in that shop. She was saying how she should’ve had the other braider do that section of my hair. She was speaking about me as if I wasn’t there. I felt less confident coming out of the shop than I did coming in. The braider had very poor customer service and for that it will be my first and last time coming to this es

I asked for small parts this is what I got. I’m giving three stars because the hospitality was great. The execution was horrible. And honestly, I should’ve evaluated my hair better before leaving the salon because I would ask for a discount. This parting is horrible. If you Have a thick head of hair and/specific about your hair do not come here! They are not trustworthy.
