I’ve always come here ever since I was a toddler. The service is amazing!! I’ve never had any bad experiences when coming to this salon. I usually go to Fatty and she’s the BEST. She doesn’t braid my hair tightly ( bc I have a sensitive head ) and she is able to do all of the styles that I have showed her. I love this place very much and encourage all of my friends and family to come here when they want to get their hair done. 10/10 overall :)

I went to Fattys on 2 occasions to get my hair cornrow styled so I could sew my weave in myself. Both times, the ladys braided my hair too tightly. I specifically told them not too tight as my hair was being braided and before. My hair texture is soft and fine and my scalp is sensitive to tight braiding. Everyone's hair is not thick and tangly and should not be treated the same. I had headaches for 2 weeks, a few sores and had to take ibuprofen. I called Fatty and she said she understands sensitive hair and texture and she will do it herself next time. Scepticle about going back.🤔 Hummmm!

This was my second time at this place and the first time was ok, but this time will be my last. The owner was there and everything was fine. But the moment she left the stylist started talking about us customers. One caught that I was listening and said talk in your language, which they didn't know I completely understand. The woman doing my hair said Fatty should've charged me more than she quoted me and the proceeded to try and change the price and I said no I'm paying what I was quoted. Then she had an attitude!!! Started speaking in their language again saying Fatty should do my hair then if she doesn't want to charge correctly cause she wasn't being paid enough. I have shoulder length hair, all I got was a wash and cornrows with my own hair. She did my hair but caked it full of gel an

Came for my hair done showed picture of the hair I wanted . It was not done properly by the lady who did it I complained on multiple occasions. I couldn’t take carrying the awful braids that was done. I complained again and was asked to come in for my braids and it will be done again. I was instructed to pay half for my hair after complaining for an entire week. The hair was repeated and it came out fine however the braids in the back( the parting) were bigger than the front making the hair appear less full. I believe this is a scam as all braids should be the same shape and I should have not paid a dime. I will not be returning here and will find another hair braider.
