Madison Reed Hair Color Bar Miami The Falls

My experience at Madison Reed in The Falls (Kendall) was extremely disappointing. I went in for highlights, but the process was poorly handled from the start. The stylist checked the first foils and it was clear my hair was already over-processed. She then called another girl over for help, and I overheard her say: “she’s cooking fast.” That immediately concerned me, but when I asked, she assured me everything was fine. Instead of working only with foils, she also brushed color freehand on other sections of my hair. When they began removing the foils, they placed plastic on the front section to continue processing there, while quickly washing the back. Later they rinsed the front and applied more color. I came in to have my hair color corrected, and they truly exceeded my expectations. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. I absolutely loved the results and highly recommend them!

I have been a Madison Reed member for over a year and have had a nice experience with the stylists. I color my roots every two/three weeks, so I am a simple customer. My hair is very curly and I usually wear it that way, no blow outs necessary, unless it is a special occasion. I tried to have my hair blow dried there once and it was a disaster, the stylist was inexperienced working on my 3b curls and after about 45 minutes of pulling, tugging and getting nowhere, another stylist stepped-in and did her best to fix it. On another occasion, a stylist offered to do a blow dry for me. She saw my hesitation and told me that her nieces have curls like mine and was used to my hair. I gave it a try and she did an excellent job. Her name is Omi and if she could get my curls straight, she is a magic

I had a wonderful experience at Madison Reed! I’m very happy with the customer service, the color results, and the amount of time and care put into the process. My colorist, Dyann, was friendly, knowledgeable, and explained everything clearly. I left feeling great and absolutely love my hair color. Highly recommend!

This was my first—and definitely last—visit to Madison Reed, The Falls location, Miami, Florida. It was hands down the WORST experience I’ve ever had at a color bar. My roots and the rest of my hair didn’t match or blend at all: my roots were brown while the rest of my hair was red. When I returned for a color correction, I was told they couldn’t fix it and was advised to go elsewhere. They created the problem and then completely dismissed me instead of taking responsibility. Although I did receive a refund and canceled my membership, the lack of professionalism and care was shocking. Extremely disappointing. Shameful!
