I’ve only gotten my hair straightened 3 times in my whole life and all 3 times were at this salon . Truth be told I should’ve stopped coming here my second visit when I was charged an absurd amount of money (completely diff price then what was advertised or what I’d agreed on ) because my hair was “longer and thicker” . It’s been about a year since that last service and I had an event to attend to and the salon agreed to squeeze me in last minute for $50 so that I could get my hair both straightened and trimmed as long as I agreed to wash and blow dry my hair at home. I reached to the salon 10 minutes before the time of my appointment (2:00pm) and was not serviced until about 45 min after and then was told that my hair would have to be blowdried .. again 🤨. I really do hate to write this review, but I need to put this out there so KATRINA can make some business changes. I have come here 3 times. Each time I booked an appointment with KATRINA the owner. The first visit, KATRINA did my hair and it came out beautiful. I was so happy I finally found a stylist in the Poconos. The next visit, she had a trainee (Spanish girl with limited English) doing my box braids? The girl continuously stopped after a couple braids to ask Katrina if the sizing was correct. I was fuming, cause why do you have someone not experienced or licensed doing my hair. Before I set it off, I took it as Katrina was overbooked (cause she was) and needed the help. My third and final visit is what made me realize this woman does not know how to run a business and she's playing
