Store was not in good order. On the top floor, clothing on the floor in multiple spots. Clothes stacks on shelves were not folded. Racks used by store employees left around the store. Clothing on clearance racks is same clearance clothing from last year. One of the items on clearance rack had a visible stain. On the main floor close to the exit there was trash. The makeup area was drenched with heavy perfume smell. Attendant said it was the customers spraying excess amounts. Could not even stay there for attendant to assist it was so bad. On the bottom floor, many of the products are not Macy’s quality at all. Cheap items for miscellaneous kitchen pieces like holiday platters, kitchen storage. I have shopped at Macy's for years and years at Midvale. Two clerks were having an argument at the desk. I have never seen such unprofessional behavior in my life. Then the clerk tried to drag my son and other people that were in line into an argument they were having. Absolutely unprofessional. I put down my items and left. The store is empty and full at the same time. Some shelves are empty and then other places are over full with items all over the floor in complete disarray. I don't know what happened to this store but it looks like a discount dollar store and honestly you get better treatment at discount dollar stores. The management at this store should be appalled but reading the other reviews apparently they're not and this is just status quo. I can firmly say I will never shop

One Star - Unprofessional Staff and Ridiculous Policies** I will never shop at this Macy's again. What I witnessed today was absolutely appalling. I had just finished lunch with my family and came in to ask for a bag to carry our takeout so I could browse the store. When I arrived, a customer had just left the store when suddenly - about 15 seconds later - one of the clerks RAN OUT after them down the parking lot, apparently over either a suspected theft or a security tag still on an item. This completely breaks retail threshold policy, and she left the other clerk to handle everything alone. Favorite place to shop for gifts, luggage, and make up. Staff are lovely and everything is clear and easy to navigate.

It's the Macy's of my childhood during Xmas. Even Santa is around, and a make a wish letter to Santa's writing desk. It wasn't overcrowded even though it was "black Friday." Well decorated and stocked.
