MAC Cosmetics

Nothing great, minimal presence/service. Really slow on a Friday evening near closing time. I knew what I wanted to purchase - just two items. Although no one was at the counter when I walked up, a male employee was nearby, nothing warm or with greeting, and couldn’t even tell if he was an employee. I circled around the counter and saw the same guy now behind the MAC counter and I initiated the greeting and asked him if I can make a purchase. Again, nothing rude, just nothing special (no warm greeting or offer to help). Asked for item 1 which was straightforward and asked for the 2nd item that was a perfume, which the employee stated they don’t offer it at their location. I asked if perhaps another MAC location offered it. He didn’t know but eventually suggested the SOHO location. Sure, I

Called and spoke to the manager (Jumane) to verify their policy regarding buying products after makeup application. He let me know that I should just buy the products I liked. I went there today and got my makeup done and then said I wanted to purchase two lipsticks. The makeup artist then told me there was a minimum spend of $75. I said that wasn’t what I was told and asked for the manager. He refused to speak with me, and the staff spoke amongst themselves. It escalated into an embarrassing scene and they were huffy for the remainder of my time there. They need to get their facts straight and relay accurate information to their customers.

I came here to return the wrong color Mac foundation but was unable to because they don't accept returns at this location. However, one of the staff there sat down with me and helped me pick out a makeup shade and bronzer that made my complection and face look so much better than if I had just bought a different color for my face. She was super helpful and because of her my makeup looks way better than before. I'm glad I came to this location, it was very enlightening.

Amazing and Megan was absolutely stellar in all her recommendations!!! I looked younger and flawless!

I never wear lipstick but wanted to start. Adzua spent loads of time helping me find the perfect shade. This was just a few days ago and I've already worn it twice. Thank you Adzua!
