Luxury Nails and Spa

See pic: gel nails peeling off after 2 weeks. Never happened with other places I’ve been. They charge $2 for paying with credit card while other places charge $.50-1. There’s a sign at the counter that says cash tips are preferred which is pretty common. Wait was not long; there were 2 workers and 2 customers when I arrived. They were pretty rough while removing my previous gel nails. They nicked one of my fingers, it burned when I placed my hands under the lamp. Unfortunately will not return again even though it’s really close to my new place.

I really don't like giving bad reviews, but two toes on my right foot are swollen and hurt after a pedicure yesterday. I have them bandaged and used antibiotic ointment. I'm just hoping I don't need to go to urgent care. The woman was too rough, cut too much, and it was painful. The paint job and massage were also bad, but I'm most upset that I'm injured and may have an infection. I went with my mom and her lady was also rough but she's not in pain like me. I'd go elsewhere if I were you.

I got a pedicure on Friday, from the start the lady was really rough. (She also pushes the cuticles dry) All of my toes were tender to touch as i left the shop. Although the rest of toes are now ok, my big toe is still red, swollen and now excreting pus. I have not been able to sleep because of the pain and the throbbing. I still cannot put on socks/shoes because It’s painful. Do not recommend this place. (I have posted a picture of my toe on Yelp for reference)

I've been coming to Luxury Nails & Spa in Long Beach for over a year! Anna is my go-to, and knows how I like my nails done. She is calm and very neat, and has great attention to detail. She can literally do any design I show her on my phone exactly like the photo, if not better! There's always parking available right in front of the salon too, which is a huge plus!

This is one amazing and courteous nail salon. The whole team here amazing.
