I’m sooo grateful I found Blaine a few years ago! He’s helped me grow out my bob to its current length at my mid back. His haircuts are great from the start and don’t have an awkward grow out between cuts. He’s fun, friendly, and the salon is comfortable and doesn’t overstimulate even when it’s busy. I’ve been going to Blaine for a little over 1 year and let me tell you, he’s the only person I trust to cut my hair. Wherever Blaine goes, I go!! It’s just that simple. Not only is Blaine incredibly talented, but he’s also one of the friendliest, funniest people you’ll ever meet. GO TO BLAINE FOR MENS HAIRCUTS! I have been going to Blaine since I met him in May 2023 at his prior salon on Broadway. He always does a fantastic job and every time I walk out the door, will get a compliment on the cut from a random stranger. He is responsive, does a great job and will take great care of you when you sit in the chair. It can be tough finding a go-to person when you land in a new city or town (or here in Long Beach), so if this is you, reach out to Blaine and he'll take care of you!

Blaine is a hair wizard with a heart of gold! Not only did he transform my hair from meh to magnificent, but he did it with the kind of warmth and charm that makes you feel like you’ve known him for years. He’s got a magic touch with scissors, and his personality is as smooth as his styling skills. Honestly, I walked out of that salon not only looking fabulous but feeling like I’d made a new friend. Updating my review from over a year ago to say that Fallyn (@Fallynbealhair) is still my favorite of all time. I followed her from her past salon to the Hair Bungalow. I drive up from Costa Mesa to Long Beach because I can’t find anyone else with her color knowledge and understanding. It’s also great value for the service and a lovely, welcoming salon. Thank you Fallyn, you’re the best!! Fallyn is incredible! It’s the first time I’ve ever left salon with exactly what I asked for in my color and cut. My hair is a nightmare and always has way way too much warmth no matter what color process I’ve had. But now I’ve finally found someone who gets it and it’s such a relief not to leave the salon disappointed. Also the salon is lovely with such a warm welcome. Will be returning 💛
