Lux by Lex

I’ve gotten obsessed with getting structured gel manicures (and gel pedicures) at lux by lex. For the first time in my life I have long nails, they are strong and stylish, my cuticles are awesome and to top it off, I can have art on my nails too!!! I’ve been going to Kim for manis, she’s such a great artist and her attention to detail is fantastic. I’ve gone to Abby for pedis and she is also an artist - her designs are 3D!! The ladies at this salon are so kind and sweet, I drive 30 min from west newton and it’s worth it!!!

Honestly, I’m not going anywhere else for the REST of my life. I love this place for so many reasons. It’s beautiful and cozy. I’ve been to this particular nail tech twice (I’m not telling yall who it is so yall don’t go book her up lol). She’s phenomenal. Meticulous, talented, detail oriented. I can’t say enough things about her and her service. I am a mom of 4. I am learning how to prioritize and take care of myself. I really fall more and more in love with myself when I walk out of Lux by Lex. I highly highly recommend this place.

This salon is that girl. My nails always come out flawless and last forever. It’s the one place I know I can sit back, sip my coffee, and leave feeling fresh, polished, and put together 💅🏽✨ The staff? Sweet, funny, detail-oriented, and actually listen to what you want (rare, I know). Lux by Lex never disappoints. Honestly, I don’t even call it an appointment anymore, I call it therapy with polish.

I've been going to Lux by Lex since spring 2024. I met my wonderful nail tech Abigail at another salon that was closer to my home a few years before she started working at Lux, and when she told me she would be working at Lux, I followed her there. Abby is a perfectionist, and not once have I ever felt like she was rushing. I can tell that the other techs also allot an appropriate amount of time in their schedules for each client as I've never seen clients with appointments having to wait unless they arrived early. The salon is always kept very clean, and it's in a nice quiet neighborhood. 10/10 recommend!

I had a great experience at Lux. Gen was my nail technician and did a phenomenal job. She was gentle and thorough with her work. She took her time to ensure that my nails came out perfect. Excuse the picture of my nails with all the growth, but it shows how good Gen's work is. The nails lasted 5 weeks without breakage and chipping. She also let me know pricing before going through with my design, which I really appreciated the transparency.
