TERRIBLE experience, the last time I Went the amber girl was ALWAYS late, never apologized and had the nerve to ask me if I wanted my hair washed like that’s not a part of the service! I booked again because I needed a quick ponytail and couldn’t think of any other shop. I booked with Carmen and she canceled my appointment to tell me the shop isn’t open on Mondays?! So why are you books available for MONDAY! Just very very ghetto and unprofessional

Our 1st time visiting this shop. You can tell the group women are good friends but very unprofessional and ghetto. The stylist did a good job on my daughter's hair but we'll never go back.

I went in to get a quick weave with a closure. The closure is covering my entire forehead. I asked the stylist Jocelyn to push the closure back and she told me she couldn't cus I over- processed my hair. It looks like I threw a wig on my head lop-sided. I will never go there again! Lost a great customer.

Hello. I just want to warn future clients of Mrs. Carrie Wiley, although she looks different in person compared to her picture on this profile. I initially had an appointment to get my Faux locs completed. I was on time but she didn't start until 15-20 minutes later. No apologies from her. I had my own hair, had already did the braiding part so she only had to do the wrapping part. My hair didn't get done because she didn't like the hair I had, human hair. I had purchased two different brands of human hair. She didnt like the shorter length kinky bulk and told me she couldn't do my hair. She said she didn't even know what it was. Lol. Carman has been doing my hair (weaves) for the last 3 years. I would to Carmen about 3-4 times a year. I will give credit where credit is due. Carman can do some hair (weaves). I'm never disappointed when I leave the chair. On the customer service side, Carmen needs a bit of work. In the last three years, I have never been late. Today was the first time I was late 25 minutes late to be exact. (I'm clear that I was late. I travel from the north side of Chicago to the south suburbs to do my hair). I attempted to call Carmen to inform her, there was no answer. When I arrived I was told that I would have to pay a late fee to be serviced.
