So lovely! Absolutely amazing experience! I last minute decided to get a haircut and didn’t want to pay an arm and a leg for it (like so many salons in Boston) — walked in, they immediately sat me down and got to work! Clean, professional, kind, it was a wonderful experience — and truthfully one of my favorite haircuts to date! Also: they really do listen to you! If you say you want only an inch off, they take only an inch off! I have pin straight hair and she worked with me on how best to accomplish NOT choppy layers! Came out exactly how I envisioned!

Really wish i could say i loved this place because i really wanted too. Not only do i absolutely hate my hair but on top of spending so much when i never go to a professional place but i wanted to treat myself, I had to on top of that pay more money to get it fixed myself because after going back to Luisa TWICE to give her the opportunity to fix it(shouldn’t have, my mistake) i should have just asked for a refund and went about my day. Not only do i still have bands of yellow in my hair but now differed types of orange due to the pink that was previously in my hair after she was doing someone else hair at the same time (which i understood at the time) and after 4 rounds of bleach on previously bleached hair my hair is now shorter and nothing what i wanted. I recently had my first visit to Lumar Hair Salon, where Rosa worked her magic on my hair. Not only did she skillfully cut my hair, but she also expertly administered my first perm. As a newbie to perms, Rosa patiently guided me through the process, demonstrating a wealth of knowledge and helping me choose the perfect perm size. Her warmth and kindness made the experience delightful, and I left feeling confident and informed. Not only did Rosa excel in styling my hair, but she also generously shared maintenance tips to keep my curls looking their best. The salon itself was impeccably clean and offered reasonable pricing. Needless to say, I'll definitely be returning to see Rosa for my future hair needs. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!
