I am begging you, ASK PRICE BEFORE! I am devastated and my nails look very nice, but this was my last visit. I do not recommend coming here if you want anything more than a basic nail. The last time I went to Lulu’s Nail, I literally cried after leaving because of how much my nails cost, and I couldn’t even be happy about how beautiful they were. I paid OVER $300 after tip for a medium length gel-x french with nail art and gems. I spent two and a half hours in the salon. Maybe if you are really rich you can afford nails that last for one month, but I will not be returning because this is just not competitive pricing. I got dip nails at Lulu’s Nails for ~ $65$ including tip 2 weeks ago and am quite happy with not only the initial results but also with how they are holding up! The spot is small and a bit reminiscent of hole-in-the-wall vibes, so you may not necessarily feel the most pampered, but the women there are kind and friendly. They will make sure your nails look good & that you are happy with your results! I will definitely be returning!

I had a very disappointing experience with Best Lulu’s Nails in New York. On August 30th, I paid $149.84 for a manicure with tips and gel. The prices charged were already much higher than those displayed, but I signed the receipt and paid through Apple Pay with Revolut. A week later, on September 7th, Revolut refunded me, saying the merchant had failed to collect the payment in time. Today, without any notice, the same transaction was processed again as an offline payment, but this time for $170.81 – more than what I signed for. The salon is not reachable anymore, and Revolut explained the overcharge as a “late settlement,” but this is clearly unfair: I never authorized a different amount; I was not informed of the delayed charge; as a customer, I should not pay for the merchant’s mistake.

Went to have a nice time at the salon and came out with bleeding fingers. After telling the woman that I was bleeding she still insisted she deserved the full price of the appointment ($85). For the photos, I wanted a simple green coffin set and came out with messed up cuticles and bumpy round nails. My partner wanted white nails with one that had stripes and one that was black. She even provided a reference photo and still got botched nails nowhere close to the photo.
