Lucky Nails (Appointments recommended)

Asked for gel, got a full acrylic set..just ruined months of growing my nails, a lot of times I go to nail salons already emotional and this time was no different, I simply did not have the energy to keep correcting this women, I kept trying to communicate gel and two of my nails were broken and those were going to be fake, she just ignored it and proceeded to give me a full set, she set the UV light far and uncomfortably positioned me so she was comfortable, French tip set is uneven and bulky. Will not be back.

This is the best nail salon I've been to. I have been a customer here for over 12 years. Appointments are recommended, so I always book ahead. The quality of work is better than anywhere else I have ever been in the 25 years that I have been getting my nails done. It is a smaller staffed shop, so they cant do a ton of people nails at one time, but that is what I like about Lucky Nails. They put quality over quantity.

Went in with my sisters and there was no other people in the establishment and my sisters where getting a full set (just the two of them mind you) and I was getting a manicure and pedicure. Not only did they make us go pull the money off our card but they decided that the other two ladies that came in an hour after me where more important and decided to start them before me. They kept stopping in the process of my sisters getting their nails done to talk on the phone and there was another lady in back that could’ve done either my manicure or pedicure (because she did both other ladies) also they where able to use their debit cards and pay after their services where complete. I tried to give them a chance but I should have just went down to nail me good as I usually do. I promise I won’t be

The first time I went the nails looked beautiful but they break so easily and I felt like I lost the ability of my hands completely. Half of them were gone befor the week was out. I decided to give them another chance I came in today requesting a fill in. I asked how much he said 30 I said ok. I had diamond on 2 nails and he was clearly struggling to take them off after a while he said I'll just put another nail on is that ok I said ok. Half way threw he stopped and a women took over. Fast forward to the end they tried to charge me 40 be cause he didn't know how to do his job. Never will I go back even if I live 4 min away.

F*** this place I will never come back here, the people told me to pay before they did my manicure, I mean I know not many black males or males in general come in to get these things done, but dam. So asked a lady that finished before I did she pay before they did her nails she said no, so why is it policy that I pay before?
