Extremely restrictive! If you want extensions, braided roots or use of other techniques for your install this is NOT the place for you. They only use interlocking, you'll have to do the big chop, they don't work with relaxed hair, they don't use extensions. They will have you waiting until your hair grows to 4-5 inches because of their restrictive methods. I wound up using a different salon who installed my locs using extensions, two strand twist with braided root technique. One month later my locs are beautiful. You have choices! Spend your money to get exactly what you want.

Loving My Locks did an amazing job on my first retie. Karen was very knowledgeable and did not hesitate to educate me on how to care for my scalp and locks. Update 12/2025 Still loving my hair 13 years later and still get compliments everyday. I am soooo happy that Kim has been doing my hair for all these many years. Love her forever and ever on repeat for starting my loc journey cause it's been the BEST decision I've ever made. I am so glad I started my sisterlocks with Kim. I get so many compliments daily on how great my sisterlocks look and it's all thank to Kim's excellent work. I totally recommend Loving My Locks for anyone who wants beautiful Locks 😁

Kim installed and has maintained my locks for the last five years. She is friendly, has great customer service, and takes good care of her customers. I started with relaxed ends and had so many questions but she walked me right through it. Five years and several styles later and I'm still loving my locks.

Kim has been doing my sister locks for years!! I was going to a lady that took soooooooo long then I went to her and was shocked she was done so fast. She's fast, extremely friendly, personable, and very reasonable. I love her service. I recommend her to anyone with sister locks.
