When my colorist and hair stylist of 8 years told me she was retiring I was in a state of panic. I researched and came across the five star reviews for Love + Roots in Austin and decided to give them a try. Jessica and Kiyita have been amazing in coloring, cutting and styling my hair. Kiyita made recommendations on my color and tweaked my formula to align with my vision-I am very happy with the results. These ladies know hair and are experts in their field. Recently, I had a facial by Linnet and it was truly fabulous. She takes great care creating a relaxing vibe and is knowledgeable. I left with glowing skin and feeling very relaxed. I love this place! Everyone is so professional, friendly & accommodating and the salon is gorgeous. I received a cut & style from Kiyita & came back for a facial with Zandil. All staff is knowledgeable in their craft & made excellent product & care recommendations for my hair & skin. I love how all the products they use smell too.

I’ve been going to this salon for just over a year and have had a great experience!! Everything is consistently high quality, affordable, and welcoming, which is not easy to find. My stylist, Kiyita, has helped me achieve a healthy, cute, and easily style-able bob that I genuinely love and can manage day to day. She really listens and cares about the long-term health of your hair. I also recently had an incredible facial with Linnet. It was thoughtful, relaxing, and left my skin glowing. You can tell she is knowledgeable and intentional about her work. I’m sad to be moving away from Austin and leaving this salon behind, but I recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for excellent hair and skincare services in Austin!

Love + Roots is close by and has been a great salon in the neighborhood! We had a few mixups with scheduling and rescheduling, and the owner, Jessica was so wonderful about it. I loved all of the staff and the entire environment! And my hair!
