I have been waiting for something like this in our neighborhood to open. I am a member and truly enjoy the quiet escape and the health benefits from the heat and cold plunge. 75 Minutes is a perfect amount. It has never felt too crowded, I go late afternoons, and love taking friends there for a quiet escape and healing all in one. Thank you Lore Bathing Club!

I’ve been coming to Lore since their soft opening as a winter ritual. It’s a beautifully designed space with lovely curated amenities and friendly, thoughtful staff members. It’s convivial enough to catch up with friends and meet new people, while still maintaining a relaxed, calm atmosphere to unwind and meditate. Highly recommend for folks looks for a welcoming, elevated yet unpretentious wellness club!

recently signed up for LORE after seeing an Instagram ad, and I’m so glad I did. The monthly membership is very reasonably priced for what you get .. access to heated sauna, cold plunge, and infrared sauna all included. The staff truly makes the experience. Sasha is especially great and takes the time to clearly explain everything and answer any questions, which made signing up feel seamless and welcoming. I also met Michelle, who is an absolute delight!; warm, friendly, and adds such a positive energy to the space. One quick note for first-timers: phones aren’t allowed inside the bathing areas. There is signage (which I admittedly missed), but I figured it was worth mentioning since it’s helpful to know ahead of time. The staff handled it kindly and professionally when they let me know.

A beautiful space to recover and energize in the busy city. The team at Lore are outstanding- knowledgeable about contrast therapy without being woo-woo or intimidating. I’ve been going to the competition/ sauna + cold plunge places in NYC and all over the world for years and can confirm that this place has gotten the combination of being a place for serious contrast therapy/recovery with gorgeous aesthetics and a very laid-back and welcoming vibe. I’ve become a member and will be back multiple times a week, the early morning/ pre-office opening especially will allow for some heat and ice during the work week: an unbeatable start to any day.

Love going to bath houses, but like anything, there are good ones, and there are ones that lack that jenesequa. Lore has a great, calming decor, super clean. But most of all, what I found is the curators are trying to build a community, not just a typical bathhouse, which is pretty unique and I liked a lot as well. Best nights sleep I've had in weeks!
