I cannot even begin to explain how great of an experience I had here for my wedding hair. Anita and Heather moved things around and fit me in each time I needed it to make my trial and the day of hair happen. I was specifically looking for a salon that could work with natural/curly hair, as I wanted to wear my hair natural for my wedding. They were both so sweet through the whole process. I felt like such a pain in the butt, but they never made me feel that way. It poured down rain on my wedding day, a few hours after I got my hair done, so it didn’t look the way it did when I left Looks, but it was still beautiful and I loved it and the experience! Hannah and Rachael at Looks Downtown were absolutely incredible to work with for my wedding! From the moment they arrived, they brought such amazing, positive energy that made the morning so much fun. They listened to everyone’s vision and truly made each person’s hair dreams come to life — every single style was flawless and stayed perfect all day and night. Not only are they beyond talented, but they’re also such warm, genuine people who made us all feel comfortable and confident. I couldn’t have asked for a better team to be part of my wedding day and I’m so grateful for them!

I love the level of customer care and quality of services at this salon. I booked them for a haircut several years ago and the style was just what I wanted. Most recently, I went in for a manicure for my wedding and had a wonderful experience. The nail tech did a fantastic job, even repairing a nail I had broken earlier in the week. All employees have been very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend them!

Hannah is amazing with short hair! She really knows how to handle thick and heavy hair. I’m so happy she read my mind and thinned it out exactly how I wanted. She also did a great job keeping my side bangs just right. The front desk staff were also super friendly and professional! I’ve already booked my next appointment with her. so glad to find my go-to hair salon in state college. highly recommend!

On Sunday, I luckily got in due to a cancellation with Averi. It’s been well over a year before I’ve got a haircut, my hair needed a lot of love. Not only did she take her time with doing a consultation, She exceeded on my expectations of a haircut. I absolutely will be back to see her and highly recommend her for your future hair needs. Absolutely great experience ❤️
