I’ve been going to Loks Salon since I was a baby, and I can honestly say it feels like home every time I walk in. Recently, I got my curls highlighted, and I’m absolutely in love with how they turned out! Finding someone who truly understands curly hair can be hard, but at Loks, they’ve always known exactly how to treat my curls with care. Desirae took her time, made sure the color blended beautifully, and somehow managed to make my hair look even healthier than before. What makes this salon so special is not just the amazing results but the people, they’re kind, welcoming, and genuinely care about their clients. I’m pretty fussy about hair and don’t hand out praise or reviews easily, but this place was genuinely brilliant from start to finish. I am so happy I found my hair place and my hair person! Desirae is AMAZING! Everyone is so friendly in a normal, genuine way (not forced salon chat), and Desirae took the time to ask proper questions about my hair, what I’ve liked before, how much effort I realistically put in at home, all of that. She is fantastic. She clearly knows exactly what she’s doing. She gave honest advice about colour and what would suit me, and I’m so glad I went with her guidance. The head massage alone was worth showing up for! Warm towels, constant check-ins to make sure I was comfortable and happy — I never felt rushed or like I’d been left sitting there. She even made ext

Loretta was my stylist. She made the whole experience an amazing one and is helping me get back to my natural hair color without damaging my hair. She was so sweet and I appreciate having her as my stylist. She even made me a mimosa and I can’t wait to go back.

Today I had an appointment with Loretta, I had a trim and blowout treatment. The energy there is Clean, Comfortable and Relaxing. I even got a head massage and almost fell asleep it felt so good. Loks salon has seen me through all of phases of life. Every visit I can be sure to walk out with confidence. We recently brought back the CURLY SHAG (Yas baby (in my Austin Powers voice lol)). I never have to ask for a style! Jen always knows what to do. Charles is a fantastic edition to my home away from home, Desi is one of the sweetest people I have ever met in my entire life (and she has the cutest kids (Rob’s homie is the most handsomest), Meg and I shred pregnancy brains together, Loretta has known me since I was a child and keeps us all in line, and Hen and I share a bond like no other.
