Let me tell you, Mia is WONDERFUL! She is new and you can tell that this is truly her passion in life. I showed her what I wanted and she took her time and gave me the best cut / style I have had in 5 years. Thank you, Mia, for fixing my hair and the wonderful conversation!

If you were to stop into Local Roots Salon, I would HIGHLY recommend getting a haircut or your eyebrows done by Sam! She is so genuine and professional, yet she makes you feel so welcomed and comfortable the entire time you are sat in her chair. Especially if you have curls, I definitely recommend letting Sam cut your hair. She is the only person I trust to not ruin my curl pattern! She also is so talented at waxing eyebrows. She takes her time with them, tweezing all the extra hairs guaranteeing the results will be as close to perfect and she can get! The entire vibe of Local Roots is incredible and I always feel welcomed in their establishment! This was our first time getting our brows done by Sam and she did an amazing job with all three of us! Not only is she incredibly skilled and detail-oriented when it comes to eyebrow waxing, but she also made the entire experience comfortable and welcoming. What really stood out besides her amazing eyebrow waxing skills, was how wonderfully she treated my husband's special needs sibling, she didn’t hesitate to make him feel at ease, and he genuinely enjoyed getting his eyebrows done. It meant so much to us. We will DEFINITELY be back!

Sam and Byron were lovely to have help me with my hair. When I walked in for a quick consult Sam answered all my questions confidently and honestly. She has a lovely personality and really made me feel at home even that small visit. Returning for my appointment, she was so kind and funny, her energy welcoming! We did a hair lightening and she got it my hair to a wonderful shade and the process was gentle on my hair just like I wanted! Definitely a repeat customer!

Sarah is amazing! I had never had a spray tan before and wow, this process is easy and so worth it! Sarah graciously (and humorously! ☺️) walked me through the “need to know” processes. I walked out 5 minutes later and looking forward to seeing my tan appear!
