Loami hair salon

Loami has been my back up stylist since I was a little girl & now she is my primary stylist! As an afro latina, I switch from curly to straight & she always stood out because she doesn't just DO your hair, she takes care of it and makes sure it’s healthy. Im a cosmetologist myself & I can still wear my hair curly with no damage so that says a lot about how knowledgable of a stylist she is. She specializes in ALL hair types. Loami also has integrity so she will tell you NO if it’s not healthy for your hair which I love about her. And she does NOT burn you! Lol😂 The salon is clean, shampoos are THOROUGH, reasonably priced (they have discounts certain days too), aesthetically pleasing & cozy, las damas son muy amables and will keep you laughing! Loami has been my hair stylist for many years and I was so excited when I heard that she was opening her own salon! My hair is healthy and sleek after every visit! I’m constantly receiving compliments from friends & strangers and I always tell them where to go! She even did my hair for my wedding! Loami is truly the best!

A shake down at the register. DO NOT COME TO THIS SALON !!! I was told my straight-back braids would cost $60 , but when the stylist finished, and it was time to pay, I was charged... $130 before tax!!! I read previous reviews of this salon having poor customer service, and hidden fees. Despite all of this, I gave them a chance. HUGE MISTAKE!!! Not only was the stylist whispering to others during my appointment, but she also LIED TO MY FACE, and claimed that she had previously told me a wash would be an "extra charge". This was NEVER relayed to me until it was time to pay up. And $70 for a wash is criminal. This salon does not take pride in keeping customers. Beautiful salon and the staff is friendly and professional. They offered my husband coffee while he waited for me. I got a beautiful haircut and style. This will be the salon I go to from now on.
