Believe me, ladies, a $100 + tip haircut in this salon is a very big waste of your money. (They must think they’re in Hollywood!) You can get an at-best mediocre cut for a lot less in many other salons in Baltimore County, and you probably will not have to deal with a sullen hair cutter with a major attitude who absolutely does not listen to your input in the process - and you might even get to see the back of your hair after the cut! The 2-star rating is for the folks who do a good job shampooing your hair.

I went to lluminaire salon after having a bad experience at another hair place. Went from a bad hair situation to an amazing one! Athena was the one who did my hair, she was committed to understanding the style I wanted and making it happen. She looked at my reference photo multiple times and talked me through the whole thing, making sure we were on the same page. The staff was all very friendly and welcoming as well.

love it! Mario cuts my hair and he is top-notch, and I've been fortunate enough to have my hair cut by some extraordinary stylists. I always look like a million bucks when he gets through with me. On top of that the salon ambiance is sooo soothing and relaxing. I always look forward to my visits and can't wait for them to reopen.

The way a salon should be. Professional Courteous On time Clean Mario is a superb colorist and stylist. He is truthful and accurate in advising this client as to the pros/cons of what I might want done.

Full service salon with expert staff who will do their best to make every patron look their best. The extra expense is well worth it. Dean and Mario, the owners, have over a half century of experience between them, and have selected a staff that is well on the way to being just as knowledgeable and skilled as they are. The salon is in full compliance with current Covid-19 protocols.
