Lip Lab Scottsdale

We recently visited Lip Lab in Scottsdale to celebrate one of my best friend’s birthdays, and overall it was a fun and unique experience. Creating customized lipstick and blush together was definitely something different and made for a memorable outing. However, there were a few things that left us a little disappointed — especially considering we made reservations weeks in advance and the pricing. For a birthday celebration, I was hoping they would do something small to make her feel special — even just a simple acknowledgment. Unfortunately, we were treated as regular walk-in clients with no special touch, which was a bit underwhelming for a pre-planned birthday experience. It was a really fun experience!!! Definitely will recommend and go back! We went to celebrate my mom & sister’s bday. I will say Matt was amazing, his coworker didn’t crack a smile and seemed to be bothered being at work. Maybe she was having a hard day? Not sure but it killed the vibes till Matt showed up and stole the show! He was amazing.

Tessa and Ainsley were awesome. They did a great job helping us pick out our colors and were super patient. We had so much fun - definitely worth the drive from the east valley. We will be back

It was easy enough to make an appointment online. Went with a friend to check out this place and the experience. Its an interesting concept. We were treating ourselves for our birthdays. Jordan was our color expert and she was incredible. She was very warm and friendly. We wanted to make a lipstick and a lip gloss. It was a lot of fun for us to work with her to get a nude color. We were not rushed at all and she would explain everything she was doing. We loved the colors she created for us with our feedback. We really enjoyed the selection of lip product colors, textures, shine and then also choosing the scents. We then got to choose the color of the case and the font for the engraving. It's of course more expensive than a lot of lipsticks but you are paying for the experience and custom

I visited around 5 pm on a Monday night and was the only patron. I loved making my own gloss and highly recommend a visit here. It's expensive however you are paying for the experience of designing your own lip product - which are really great. It's my second Lip Lab visit - First visit was in the Nashville location which was very crowded in comparison to this location.
