Lip Lab Boston Seaport

Came here with my friend as a birthday activity and it was such a fun and memorable experience! The environment was vibrant and welcoming, making it a perfect spot to celebrate and try something new. Our color artist, Shayna, was amazing! She made the whole process enjoyable and never rushed us while we picked out our signature lip shades. She was very knowledgeable and made my gloss exactly the way I wanted it. It felt special and personal, and we left with lip colors that truly fit us. This is such a unique activity for any age group, and I’ll definitely be returning in the future. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a creative and fun outing in Seaport.

My friend and I came here on a whim, we were a walk-in appointment and they were able to get us in within the next hour. We had Nathalie helping us and she was amazing!! She was so nice letting us mix up all sorts of combinations, and everything she made was fireee. We walked away with extra items we didn’t think we’d get because everything she made was so amazing, without being hounded with upselling which is a plus. 10/10 service couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

My friend went in and had a bad experience here. She left a review and now the review is suddenly gone. “ I visited the Lip Lab Boston expecting a high-end, custom experience, but | left feeling insulted and embarrassed. My appointment was with Taylor, who was dismissive from the start. The entire point of the Lip Lab is to collaborate until you leave with a color you actually like. However, we got into a disagreement early on because she simply would not change course or listen to my feedback. I repeatedly told her the swatches were too red, yet she seemed to get upset that I didn't like her formula. Instead of being helpful, she made an inappropriate comment about my skin tone, suggesting my complexion was the reason the color wasn't working. When I continued to ask for adjustments, she

Oh my goodness! Go visit your girl Chime! She customized a nude lipstick for me today! And she crushed it - my first ever true nude!!! As a South Asian woman it’s near impossible to find a true nude lippie. She was patient and listened and nailed it! Highly recommend this place - they saw me on the spot without an appointment as they had the availability. And you fellow South Asians go and get a custom lippy or take my formula “Bally”!!! Thank you for a wonderful experience! Note - it takes an hour but totally worth it!!!

Came here with my sister and mom for my mom’s birthday. We had a great time! Chimé helped create our lipsticks and balms. She made sure we each had a color that we loved and created an overall great experience. At the end she crafted a beautiful red shade we all got to try which was very special! We will definitely be returning, and if Lip Lab opens a London location we hope to visit and see Chimé there 😊
