Linda's African Hair Braiding

I normally love the way Linda braids my hair I don't know what was going on with the lady that was there on 2/23/17 It just wasn't her day or something but it will cost her dearly. I get my hair braided often and I can do it on my own but sometimes I like to go to the shop. Not anymore I will from now on do my own hair. I have no ill feelings against the shop because I know they do much better work, BUT I will go back to doing my own this was HORRIBLE FOR THE AMOUNT OF MONIES I PAID . I paid $80 dollars for starter locs and it’s been a week and now it’s completely unraveled, when I went to speak with Linda about it she stated it would cost me an additional $80 to get it touched up. This lady cares nothing about people hair just there money. Since she dedicates her time on taking people money I’m going to dedicate my time in taking her business away. She will either refund me my $80 dollars are watch her doors close. It stops today!

I wish I would’ve read the reviews before going! Avoid this place at all cost. Linda, the owner is a money hungry individual that could care less about her customers. She will quote you one price, and then try to charge you more at the end. She’s done it twice to me. Once for my daughter’s hair and once for mine. Not only that, I paid her $120 to redo my first 3 rows of my hair over only to come home and realize she only did one. When I reached out to her about it she was very rude and nasty and tried to charge me more to finish the 3rd row I paid for. Not only that, as I’m walking through the house today, a braid just came out of the front of my head(yes the one she recently rebraided) I asked her not to braid my edges because they’re very fragile. They do not speak English here so they just say yes to anything. I asked for a braid down for a sew in and asked did she know how to do it prior and she told me come back in 2 hours. I did and the lady that was there had called in another stylist who clearly had no idea what she was doing. She had to stop working on a client to constantly help the girl braiding my hair who was laughing the whole time because she knew what she was doing. Then the owner had the never to charge me $50. I told her no $40 and she said okay. That let me know she just trying to get over on me, sad I’ll never come back. Gave 2 stars because they weren’t rude but didn’t do anything like I asked & wasted my time.

I havent had any problems tell her what I want and she doesnl it shes also fast i dont get anything to crazy but its always nice
